Five things I’m thankful for this week:
- The ability to teach my non-standard learners at home. I enjoy being able to teach my kids at home, at their own pace, using creative ways that allow me to be the one who gets to see ‘the lights go on’ when they grasp a concept or realize that they can do something.
- My sewing machine (and serger) even though it is out of commission right now. Being able to make, mend and remake clothes and other things for my family means a lot to me.
- For plenty of food to eat. Money gets tight at times, but I’ve never had serious worries about how to feed my family.
- For a husband who is willing and able to stay home and take care of the kids when I am sick.
